Jorge Lorenzo set the fastest time in the second Free Practice session at Misano.

Lorenzo started the session at the top and managed to maintain a comfortable lead, and it was only later on in the session that the Repsol Honda’s of Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa closed the gap and started to put the pressure on.

Valentino Rossi struggled in 15th place for most of the session until a late surge saw him claw his way back to 11th position.
