Casey Stoner got to try out the new 2012 1000cc Honda prototype for the first time at Jerez on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Wednesday was originally scheduled to be Dani Pedrosa’s day to test the new machine, but the broken collar-bone that he sustained in his crash with Marco Simoncelli at Le Mans meant he had to miss out.
