Shoei helmets have announced a replica helmet in tribute to the late Shoya Tomizawa who lost his life last year in Moto2.

The helmet will be created in strictly limited numbers and will be released into the Japanese market from April 2011 and will feature Tomizawa’s graphics. The helmet will be in the Shoei X-Spirit II range.

Some of the money made from sales of this limited edition helmet will be contributed to Tomizawa’s family and to young Japanese road racers who are looking to start a career in motorcycle racing.
