Marc Marquez got his 125cc championship push back on track with a relatively simple victory in Motegi. It was Nicolas Terol who took the early lead, but Marquez stayed close behind Terol before making his move on the 8th lap and taking the lead. The victory puts Marquez in second place in the Championship and only 6 points behind Terol in the standings.

Pol Espargaro’s title challenge suffered a dent after a 4th place finish.
