Talk about having big shoes to fill – Valentino Rossi’s younger half-brother, Luca Marini, will be competing in the Honda NSF100 European Cup Final in Albacete, Spain.
Luca Marini spoke with Racers Republic about the forthcoming race.
Q. What is the NSF100 like to ride?
A. The bike is very good handling and riding it I get a lot a fun. It’s really good for those who already raced with mini bikes.
Q. Your style has been likened to your brother Valentino. Is the NSF a good bike to develop riding style?
A. Regarding my style, this what people say. The NSF100 is real racing machine and this definitely help to develop racing riding style.
Q. How do you feel about racing against some of the best young riders from around the world?
A. It’s fantastic to compete with riders coming from all around the world and share with them the same passion for racing with motorcycle.
Q. Where would you like your career to take you? Do you want to follow in the footsteps of Valentino?
A. Both we have the passion for the races and the motorcycle and this is a very nice thing for two brothers.
Q. Would you like to remain on a Honda for the rest of your career?
A. It’s my mammy’s dream!
