Shoya Tomizawa’s funeral took place in Japan yesterday. It is reported that over a thousand guests were in attendance to pay their respects. Attendees from the racing world included ex-MotoGP and current Moto2 rider Yuki Takahashi, and 125cc rider Tomoyoshi Koyama.
The funeral was held as a public service in Asahi, and Tomizawa’s leathers were hanging on display next to his coffin.
