Andrea Iannone took victory in the Spanish Moto2 race, followed by Simon and Talmasci.

Championship leader Toni Elias staged a brave comeback after starting from 12th, then getting bumped at the start of the race, before fighting back and slicing through the field to claim a 4th position finish in the race.
