Toni Elias took victory in the Moto2 GP in France, and also takes the lead in the Moto2 Championship standings with an 18 point advantage over Tomizawa.

There was no shortage of crashes in the race with some of the victims including Tomizawa, Noyes, Passini, Takahashi, de Rosa, and Alex de Angelis.
