Marc Marquez took an early lead in the 125cc Qualifying session, until Bradley Smith and Pol Espargaro started to find their pace and challenged for pole position.
With 13 minutes to go Nico Terol started to stamp his authority and put himself top of the timesheets. Despite strong challenges from Espargaro, Cortese, and Marquez, Terol was able to maintain his position and took pole position for tomorrow’s French GP with a fastest lap of with a lap of 1.43.719.
Bradley Smith suffered a crash at turn 7 with a minute to go and will start from 5th position on the grid tomorrow.
