After finishing second in the Moto2 opening round at Qatar, Alex Debon maintained his form by taking first place in the Moto2 practice session at Jerez today, closely followed by Gabor Talmacsi.

Many of the early Moto2 favourites all finished within the top 10 – Simon (7th), Luthi (9th) and Cluzel (10th).
