The Hungarian leg of this year’s MotoGP season at the Balatonring is likely to be cancelled because of delays in the construction of the new circuit.

Hungary’s Government says the Spanish company that is building the track did not commence the construction work on time.

The new race was supposed to replace the Shanghai MotoGP from this year.
