Rossi got back into F1 for a couple of days (20th and 21st November) at Mugello for his much discussed Ferrari test. Rossi was driving the same spec car as Massa and Felipe Massa and Raikkonen had in the recently ended 2008 F1 season.

Day one saw Rossi eventually lapping within 1’5 seconds of the F1 pace, but wet weather at Mugello on Friday prevented him from going for his goal of shaving off another half a second.
